Literary Street

From the Plaza de Atenas, where the Wine Festival is held in September each year, a literary street map begins, the result of choosing fragments from the village criers who have praised our wines and our land.
All these fragments are also found in the Book “Mollina, Los Pregones de la Vendimia”, where the texts are cited since 1987 in the inaugural proclamations of the Fair are compiled.
Initially, with 20 and to date, we have 26 panels of tiles that beautify our local landscape, while creating a literary walk that remembers the words of important masters of letters such as Rafael Alberti, Antonio Gala, Fernando Quiñones, Rosa Regás, Juan Cobos Wilkins, Benjamín Prado, Lorenzo Silva, Fernando Delgado, Eduardo Mendicutti, Angeles Caso, Luis Eduardo Aute, Marta Sanz, Ángel Idígoras and Andrés Neuman among others.
Therefore, we invite you to walk through our streets, following the map where the panels are located, and reading these fragments, you can visit our village while immersing yourself in the feelings these famous authors have inspired.
